ArtMalaysia aspires to be a portal that will create a greater awareness and appreciation of art in community as well as set the pace for Malaysia to become an emerging art centre in this region.

Going by the tagline of a fan fair of art, ArtMalaysia presents a platform whereby Malaysian art works may be made known to the rest of the world.

Managing Director, Mr. Alias Hashim, says,

"In the West, art is a large part of one's social life and as such much prominence is given to it. Malaysia is a country rich with artistic talents but it is not taken seriously by our general public."

He added, " Our underlining objective is to create an avenue by which Malaysian artists and art lovers may be introduced to the international art scene."
